My name is Emma. I’m currently a rising sophomore in college, an Italian cappuccino fanatic, an avid journaler, a proud King Charles mix owner, and a world traveler. I graduated from Emma Willard School in May 2016 and periodically miss my hectic life as a two-sport varsity athlete, a writer for “The Clock”, a Kellas residence, and a shared owner of the Senior Triangle. My roots belong in Chongqing, China, but I grew up in New England and will always consider it home–a word whose definition varies. I am majoring in communications with a double concentration in PR & advertising at Marist College. I have big dreams to work in editorial in Manhattan or abroad, write a book based on coming of age, and open a trendy, European-inspired cafe with my business partner, Sasha Schmitt. I am privileged to say that I spent my first year of college abroad in Florence, Italy. I will always be a student Florentine at heart. This summer I am home in Vermont and interning at The Vermont Country Store and Tuttle Publishing. Someday I am going to bake a perfect macaron.
